The boom will soon begin with the Pine Trail platform, with plenty of new netbooks expected in 2010. Of course, MSI doesn't want to be left out of this either, and it does so.

Following the announcement of the Wind U130 and U135, MSI has now confirmed the arrival of another model, the third netbook to be built on the new Pine Trail Atom platform, and he is none other than the U160. The upcoming novelty, like everything else, will be officially unveiled at CES 2010. Extremely imposing design, 10-inch display and hidden touchpad characterize the fresh Windet.

The specifications that have been removed for the U160 are not yet official, but if we can believe them, there will be a 1,66 GHz Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 1 or 2 GB of RAM (1 GB more likely) and a 160 or 250 GB hard drive in the netbook . MSI promises that this Wind model will be able to provide 10 hours of uptime with a single charge. The product will be available for approximately $ 350 initially, with distribution set to begin in late January.
