JVC Pocket DV camera with 32x magnification

JVC has introduced its GR-D350 camera.

This device is the first to support up to 32 × optical zoom. Key features of the JVC GR-D350:

• Dimensions: 59 × 94 × 114 mm and weight 480 grams
• 1/6, 680000 pixel CCD
• Lenses with a focus of 2,0-4,5
• f = 2,3-73,6, which means 35-44 mm in a 1408 mm system
• 200 × digital zoom
• Fireware connector

The device will be released in Japan in mid-January 2006 - there is no news yet about its European appearance and expected price.
