From July 1, roaming charges at Magyar Telekom will also be reduced

From 1 July, voice, SMS and data roaming charges within the European Union will be further reduced. With the accession of Croatia to the EU, the use of roaming services will become more favorable for those traveling there, so EU roaming charges will also be available in Croatia. Holidaymakers here can talk, text and use the internet at a significantly lower rate than before.

In accordance with the current regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on international roaming charges, Telekom will provide low-cost calls made within the EU Member States for HUF 2013 per minute and calls received for HUF 1 per minute from 91,4 July 26,6. Telekom's customers can send SMS roaming within the EU countries for a fee of HUF 30,4 / pc and MMS for HUF 171 / pc. The fee for data roaming in the EU is also significantly reduced: within Member States, Telekom's customers can trade for HUF 257,9 instead of HUF 171,5 per megabyte.

The good news for holidaymakers who prefer the Croatian Sea is that with Croatia's accession to the EU, the above favorable Eurotariff will also apply in Croatia. These fee changes affect Telekom World Travel's EU, Mix Roming, Mix Roaming Direct, Domino Roaming, Domino Roaming Direct tariff packages.

However, the changes above do not apply to business customers who use specific roaming tariffs or packages to suit their individual needs - the charges, billing units and limits set out in the current agreement will continue to apply to them.

The new roaming charges have been developed in accordance with regulations of the European Parliament and the European Council and allow cost-effective mobile telephony and mobile internet access in EU Member States.
