Ice Cream Sandwich is coming for the new Xperia models

New members of the Xperia family will receive the latest Android.

This year, SonyEricsson also introduced several new Android devices, so it wasn’t surprising recently that all new Xperia models (Arc, Neo, Play, Mini and Mini Pro) will receive the Android 2.3.4 update. 

The manufacturer has now made another announcement about Android updates: After the release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, new members of the Xperia family will be able to update to the latest system shortly. The new version is expected to be available around October-November, so the update will certainly arrive at the owners early next year. This is definitely good news for those who have such a device or are planning to make such a purchase, as it will certainly give them the right support for a long time to come.
