What's new from Nokia
The company has also officially announced 3 new Symbianos, the E7, C7 and C6-01.
Nokia will host the now-familiar Nokia World on September 14 and 15. On the opening day, 4 novelties were presented immediately. Of these, N8 is already quite well known, but not much information has been available about E7, C7, and C6-01 so far.
Let's start with the E7 then. The E7 has a slider design with a full physical QWERTY keyboard. The novelty was given a 4-inch, nHD resolution AMOLED display. Photography is provided by an 8 Mpixel optics with dual LED flash and 720p video recording. Of course, the offer should not include support for Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 3.0. Data can even be stored in the built-in 8 GB memory. The device weighs 176 grams, which seems like a lot, but that’s because the housing is made of galvanized aluminum. The company intends this model to be in the upper category, and its price is also Turkish, as it is expected to be taken home for 495 euros.
The Nokia C7 got a stainless steel body and was built with the same 8 megapixel camera as the E7. The display here is provided by a 3,5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 × 360. The C7 also has 8 GB of memory, and GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can also be found here. The price is expected to be 335 euros.
Last but not least, here is the C6-01. This model got the smallest display, here we can only talk about 3,2 inches, but the technology and resolution are the same as for the previous two innovations. The housing of the phone is also made of stainless steel. Of course, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth are also available here, and 8GB of built-in storage is also included in the device. The price of the C6-01 will certainly be around 260 euros.
Each of the phones just announced runs the latest Symbian ^ 3 operating system and is reportedly on store shelves before the end of the year. We are looking forward to them, as the company already has a model upgrade to be able to compete against the competition again.
