Another AC-cooled GeForce from Inno3D

Along with the official launch of the bare 9800 cooler, the first pre-assembled card also arrived.

And this is nothing more than Inno3D’s newer GeForce 9800 controller, to which the Swiss mounted their Accelero Xtreme 9800 unit after some phase adjustment. The basics, of course, haven’t changed, just a drop of color playing with the manufacturer to make the card easy to identify, to fit into the brand image. The clock signals have also changed, of course, the core is 720, while the memories are operating at 2300 MHz.

Three 80mm air agitators and five heat pipes take care of keeping the G92 core cool, while the memories and power supply circuits have been given separate ribs. However, the cooler, which can withstand a maximum heat output of 240 W, is praised not only for this, but also for its extremely quiet operation. According to the press release, it operates with significantly less noise compared to its chiller reference counterpart, and thanks to the PWM control, it always winds as much on the valves as is absolutely necessary.

Unfortunately, the price of the i-Chill 9800 GTX has not yet been announced, but the Accelero Xtreme 9800 comes at the predicted price of 35 euros. When we can visit our country, we can't say yet.
