Games with dual core support

After the Cyber Athlete Professional League (CPL) final, Intel issued an official statement about games supporting its dual-core processors.

Unfortunately, the support in these programs will have to be understood in the future, but this is already one hundred percent better than it has been so far, as nothing encouraging could be read on the subject.

In Intel's statement, it emphasizes that the list of supported programs mostly includes games in which the processes can be "easily" separated in some way, so that the two cores simultaneously work in different parts of the program, such as graphics and AI (artificial intelligence). be able to work separately.

Game developers have stressed that while the task is not hopeless, it will require a lot of effort on their part to properly optimize the programs. This is certainly the case, but we users are hoping that they will solve the problems soon.

We expect the following programs to be optimized in the near future:

  • Call Of Duty 2
  • FEAR
  • World Of WarCraft
  • Age Of Empires 3
  • Peter Jackson's King Kong
  • The Movies
  • Battlefield 2
  • Battlefield 2: Special Forces
  • Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
  • Rainbow Six 3: Sword of Athena
  • Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
