ASUS has introduced a new notebook

The P30A can primarily be a loyal companion for business people.

Equipped with a 13,3-inch LED-illuminated, widescreen display, the machine prioritizes usability without compromises, and accordingly, it is built from quality components in every respect. The latter, in addition to the use of materials, also manifests itself in the knowledge set, since the tool contains several novelties that can help it achieve serious success on the market. A noteworthy example is the "Xpress Charge" technology, which, according to the manufacturer, can achieve a battery charge of approximately ninety percent with a ninety-minute charge. Similarly curious is the "Anti-Theft" solution associated with Intel's name, which, in addition to software protection, is also embodied in hardware, namely in the form of an integrated chip. The technology makes it possible to remotely track the stolen notebook, block access to personal data, or, in the last case, delete it. The machine housing made of magnesium alloy and the protection process named "ShockShield Data Protection" can also be of good service; the latter protects the data on the hard drive in the event of a possible drop or stronger vibration. We cannot pass by the Red Dot Design award-winning keyboard without saying a word. Less important, but certainly beneficial from a convenience point of view, is the use of the service introduced under the name "Scene Switch", which implements a double user interface in a Windows environment, which is gaining more and more popularity among smartphones. The essence of the software is that the user can switch between two profiles (business versus private use mode), for which he can individually define various parameters, such as background image or icons displayed on the desktop.

There was no mention of the machine's "dry" technical specifications, even though ASUS' savior has nothing to be ashamed of in this regard. Once again, the central unit takes the form of an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, but the ominous model has special features: when designing the SU9400 component, Intel kept in mind the lowest possible consumption, so its clock signal was limited to 1,4 GHz. Despite this, the performance guaranteed by the machine will not decrease drastically compared to that of its competitors, as the Core architecture happily copes with basic multimedia tasks even at this low clock speed. The engineers maximized the size of the DDR2 standard central memory at 4 GB, which seems to be a justified step considering the expected nature of the use. Data can be stored on a 2,5-inch hard drive, which, depending on the customer's choice, will have a capacity of 250 or 320 GB. Fortunately, the ASUS engineers did not forget about the optical drive, which many have buried, so the device weighing only 1,49 kilograms was equipped with a unit suitable for writing double-layer DVD discs. The equipment also includes a 1,3 megapixel web camera, a fingerprint reader, and a Bluetooth 2.1+EDR radio, as well as Wi-Fi. For users who are constantly on the go, it is welcome news that the P30A is compatible with both 3G and 3.5G (HSDPA) networks, although ASUS will not offer the necessary hardware as an integral part of the machine in all regions.

The timing of the machine's entry into the market is still unknown, as the expected purchase price is overshadowed by a benevolent.
