New memory card format: Memory Stick PRO-HG

The fruit of the collaboration between Sony and SanDisk is the Memory Stick PRO-HG.

Fortunately, the new format is compatible with the "traditional" Memory Stick Pro, which has been on the market for quite some time, but promises much higher performance and capacity.

The storage capacity can reach up to 32 GB, while thanks to the 40-60 MHz internal core, the data transfer rate can be up to 60 MB per second, while the minimum write speed is around 15 MB / second.

The first Memory Stick PRO-HG will premiere next year, but it is not yet known when the theoretical maximum capacity of 32 GB will be reached.
