New 3DMark world record with ATI CrossFire

Thanks to NVIDIA SLI, ATI has recently disappeared from the top of the 3DMark charts. But the recently announced With crossfire technology he managed to return to the forefront again.

ATI is proud to announce to Computex that it has set a new world record using its CrossFire platform: 15498 point in 3DMark05.

With a card in Dual mode

The result was set by the famous Finnish tuning, Macci, with an AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 processor and two 904 MHz tuned Radeon X850 XT PE video cards. Detailed information about the system are located here.

The score has not yet made it to Futuremark’s top list, as the result was a surprise for ATI, but the 3DMark lists are expected to be full of new records soon as testers get their first CrossFire copies.
