The ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z is based on the AMD AMD 990FX + AMD SB950 chipset and can use AM3 + processors. Memory can be placed in the four DDR3 DIMM slots, with a maximum usable amount of 32 GB. On the tab you will find four PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots and two PCI-Express 2.0 x1 slots. Its background can be connected to eight SATA 6,0 Gbps and two eSATA 6,0 Gbps connectors. External connections are supported by six USB 3.0 and twelve USB 2.0 ports, while wired networks can be accessed with a Gigabit Ethernet interface.
