The Galaxy name is no longer just for smartphones, as the Samsung Galaxy Camera, the manufacturer’s Android-powered camera, has officially arrived.
The camera has got the top hardware of today. The system is run by a 1,4 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of memory, 8 GB of flash memory can be used as mass storage, while it is powered by a 1650 mAh battery.
The system running on the camera is the latest version of Android, running software codenamed Jelly Bean version 4.1. On the back is a 4,8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, and the images are taken with a 23 mm wide-angle lens that has been given a 21x optical zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy Camera is now available for purchase in Europe, the opening price in HUF is just under 150, it is a question of how much it will cost in domestic stores.
