The Mac is in danger again
In the latest post on the Antivirus blog, the veil fell off another dangerous pest. A malicious application (called OSX / Morcut-A) is very dangerous because it installs itself silently.
An applet made in Java can check what environment you are in (Windows or Mac). It creates a backdoor and can even use admin privileges, creating a number of malicious components with random names. It has now been revealed that you can follow the activities of Firefox, Safari, Skype, Adium and Microsoft Messenger, but you can see the movement of the mouse, take screenshots, activate the webcam and microphone, monitor the keyboard, as well as a lot of personal data, information can also steal. The technically advanced malware hides its activity from the activity monitor. Vulnerable systems include Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard and OS 10.7 Lion.
