You can apply again for Magyar Telekom's national internship program

For the semester of Magyar Telekom's internship program starting in September 2011, you can apply until April 15 on the company's website. For the previous internship semester, which started in February, 1000 students applied, 50 of whom were admitted to the program.

 

Magyar Telekom - among the first in the country - launched its internship program 15 years ago with the aim of providing college and university students with usable, practical knowledge. The training provides an opportunity for students to complete their mandatory internship at Hungary's leading telecommunications company, enrich their theoretical and practical knowledge, and start their career at Magyar Telekom. The success of the program is proven by the fact that 2011 students applied for the internship semester starting in February 1000, of which 50 students were able to start the program. Together with them, nearly 100 interns are currently working in various areas of the company. "Our aim is to enrich the company with fresh knowledge. Thanks to the mentoring system and frequent personal consultations, we can pay particular attention to the personal development of students. I can proudly say that Magyar Telekom is the best place for young people to show what they are capable of," said Éva Somorjai, Magyar Telekom's Deputy CEO of Human Resources.

You can apply for Magyar Telekom's internship semester starting in September 2011 until April 15 career.telekom.hu page. The 5-month program is open to active students in higher education who are pursuing a bachelor's degree (BSc or BA) and a university degree (MSc and MA). Another requirement is at least intermediate English language skills. The company concludes a part-time, fixed-term employment contract with the trainees, with a 2-month probationary period. For students, the program is a busy 20 hours a week. The trainees will receive a gross monthly allowance of HUF 75, which will be expanded with a wide range of fringe benefits after the end of the probationary period.

The first three weeks of the program prepare you for meaningful and meaningful work in the field. After that, the trainees take part in specific, project-like tasks in different areas of the company. Each trainee has a mentor who, in addition to helping with the integration, provides regular feedback on the trainee’s work. With this method, Magyar Telekom strives to share its corporate, complex knowledge and experience with students.
