ION GPU video card from Zotac

Zotac’s product is trying its luck in the field of low-profile graphics cards.

Recently, Zotac began selling its strange entry-level solution, dubbed ION-GPU-AE. As its name suggests, NVIDIA's next-generation ION GPU, a graphics processor codenamed GT40 with 218-nanometer manufacturing technology, acts as the graphics core.

The manufacturer primarily recommends its latest saves for HTPCs, which don't even play 1080p videos. As you can see, the card has a blue PCB and active cooling is embodied by a fan. A DVI and an HDMI output have been added to the back. As for the guts, the GPU runs at 589 MHz, while the 16 CUDA cores in it work at 1402 MHz. There is a 512-bit memory interface between 790 megabytes of 3 MHz DDR64 memory and the graphics core.

Zotac is wasting his PCI Express card with a 1 × connector for $ 60, which is equivalent to 14 forints, but at home they ask for about 000 forints.
