Apple can work on a smart ring
We’ve seen something similar, but if Apple makes it sure it will be cool!
Based on material filed by the company to the U.S. Patent Office, they appear to be working on a control ring for phones, tablets, and the Siri assistant. According to the news, the ring can be used for a processor, microphone and wireless connection - it will probably also have a Bluetooth module.
In contrast to the Amazon Echo Loop ring, Apple’s solution will not only be used for voice control, the ring will also get a touch-sensitive surface. Apple says the ring will be a great tool in situations where controlling your phone or tablet with your fingers can be cumbersome or dangerous, such as while driving. It will also be suitable for using our phone discreetly, for example in a meeting, restaurant or similar situations.
