Intel Core i9-7980XE is multi-core!

The Intel Core i9-7980XE features 18 physical and 36 logical cores, surpassing the AMD Threadripper 1998X by two cores. The clocks of the new proci are not yet known, but it is suspected to be faster than the Core i9-7900X, which has a 3,3 GHz base clock and a 4,3 GHz Turbo Boost clock. Based on this, the new monster boss clock can reach 4,5 GHz as well! The new Core i9 Extreme processor supports Intel's AVX-512 instruction set, Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology, 44 PCIe 3.0 tracks and a four-channel DDR4 memory controller. In addition to the latter, we will even be able to use DDR4-2666 modules. Performance data is not yet available, but it is likely to be compared to AMD’s savior soon. We haven't talked about one thing yet, the price. Intel is asking for no less than $ 2000 for the new proci. That's why the cool faces of Pest are already taking over, so there's definitely power in the new processor!
