Quake Champions is free!

Bethesda has announced on the occasion of this year’s QuakeCon that Quake Champions has become a free to play model.

Let’s face it, the stuff unfortunately doesn’t (yet) offer a full gaming experience by far; the first is early access software, and on the other hand we only get two heroes (Ranger and Scalebearer). The game is better in terms of game modes and maps (Quickplay, Arcade, and Ranked), but because of this level of limitation on playable heroes, you may want to get a character pack - usually $ 40, but it costs half as much during the event. If you don’t need it, you can check each character in weekly rotation with enough patience.
