Transparent acrylic housings are picked up by the market from time to time, and now the RGB craze is also spreading with steam power.
After the gamer indicator went down, the new buzzword became color lighting, as everything from AMD Ryzen's factory cooling to mid-range motherboards is lit, but really every device that gives something to it - hold on, there's already such SSD drive cooling thanks to ADATA. Presumably, the Chinese Segotep also wants to ride this wave, because their computer case with the LUX fancy name is completely transparent, so it can shine in all the splendor of the configuration in it - my Intel Celeron G530 processor would certainly show well in it…
Let’s start with a quick summary of the autopsy:
- ATX, Micro ATX and ITX support
- Two-by-two 3,5-inch and 2,5-inch drives (quick release)
- Removable dust filters (bottom of power supply and top of housing)
- They can even eat a 38cm long graphics card
- It accepts tower coolers up to 159 millimeters
- 8 fan slots (120 mm can come)
- Front panel with USB and jack, but no space for an optical drive
- Physical extent of the house: 40,0 × 18,5 × 47,0 cm
To avoid misunderstandings, nail it down, the design shown in the introductory picture is not a factory interior, so you will have to get the color-smelling coolers for you. Unfortunately, this can come at a significant cost, as quite a few dust mixers are required for an impressive overall effect.
In addition to the clear acrylic panel, LUX has another eye-catching feature; bottom-powered, while the power supply is housed in a closed, internal rack. This has a number of practical benefits, including noise benefits, but it is also incidental that the cooling units on top of the rack direct a significant flow of air to the video card.
