iiyama ProLite T2451MTS: multitouch monitor arrives in Europe

The latest device from the iiyama is already familiar in Japan, but soon residents of the old continent may be pushing for a monitor with a 23,6-inch diagonal.

The 1920 × 1080 pixel T2451MTS gets the familiar - and less popular - TN panel, but also supports at least two-finger touch control. If you do not want to explain the valuable content of the display between the fingerprints, you can also control it with a pen, in addition, the manufacturer includes it. From the panel type we can easily deduce the 2 ms response time, while the contrast ratio is 1: 000 - dynamically 1: 5 - and the brightness is the usual 000 cd / m000. The backlight was solved with WLED, and connectors give D-Sub, DVI, and two HDMI. If peak sound isn’t important, thanks to the built-in 1-watt speakers, the iiyama solution can do the same. The recommended end-user price of the ProLite T250MTS is no less than € 2, which we find quite appealing in terms of this build, touch screen here or there.
