Hynix: the world's fastest DRAM

Hynix has unveiled the world’s fastest 512-megabit DRAM, which could appear in mobile devices and portable multimedia devices in the near future.

Hynix's 512 Mb DDR SDRAM a Thanks to 32 parallel output and input channels It allows a data transfer rate of 1,6 Gbps. This is nearly one and a half times more than the manufacturer’s current memory chips are capable of.
