Several companies are talking about phones with HD displays, but will HTC have the highest pixel density?

HTC Rezound, HD resolution, 4,3 inches, PPI record?

According to preliminary rumors, the Taiwanese company will equip HTC Rezound with a 1280 x 720 pixel display, although the size of the display will not increase compared to the current high-end device, ie it will remain 4,3 inches. No manufacturer has shown or shown such a resolution on a display of this size.

Samsung's HD display comes under the name of Super AMOLED (Plus) HD, it spans 4,65 inches, and LG's display of a similar caliber has already been released, but unfortunately in Korea, and probably won't reach other markets in this form. It uses the so-called True HD IPS technology, which is produced in a 4,5-inch version. The PPI value, i.e. the pixel density, is 315 pixels in the case of Samsung, 326 on LG's display, and 4,3 on HTC's 341-inch window, if this is how the Rezound really appears. As a reminder, the Retina display found in Apple products has a resolution of "only" 329 PPI.

Rezound could be launched on November 10, but not much is known about the device yet. According to some rumors, it will get a 1,5 GHz Qualcomm processor, an 8-megapixel rear-panel and 2-MP front-facing camera, and comes with 4G LTE support. As far as the system is concerned, of course, we are talking about Android 2.3, and no rumors have yet been heard about the transition to ICS.
