How do I turn on the Firefox PDF reader?
You can already find a PDF reader in Firefox 15, but it needs to be lured with some magic.
If we want to turn on the service, the first step is to enter the following in the address bar: about:config. After skipping the worrying warning, look for the so-called “browser.preferences.inContent” and “pdfjs.disabled” settings. Activate these settings by calling up the quick menu (right button).

If we did everything well, we will be greeted with something similar to the picture above. Now all we have to do is dig up a PDF file on a trial basis. You can do this on the Internet, or by simply opening such a file from your browser - Firefox menu button, then a new tab and there you will find the option to open the file.
It works, perfect for basic tasks.
Of course, don’t expect big miracles from the built-in PDF reader, it’s only suitable for the simplest operations, but in many cases it also does a lot.
