HOAP-3 - Fujitsu's new human-like robot

In the world of computer software, games are already prevalent where we can shape the lives of the characters we create. Now the hardware version of the human-like robot called HOAP-3 has arrived

This is not Fujitsu’s first attempt to make a human-like robot. The first, HOAP-1, was published in 2001 and has undergone significant development since then. The newest member of the robot family is the HOAP-3, which is an human-like robot 80 centimeters high and weighing almost 9 kilograms.

Its interior is driven by a Pentium M 1.1 GHz processor and an RT-Linux operating system. Our virtual friend is equipped with a full image and voice recognition system, as well as a distance and acceleration sensor. We can control it from our computer via a wireless network.
