Well, well! It seems that in the case of the models in the price segment around HUF 20-25, AMD is also reaching for a well-proven tool for the Greens, the renaming. What exactly does this mean? Extending the Juniper life cycle.
Data sheet for Radeon HD 6750 and Radeon HD 6770 has already appeared on AMD's official website, from which it can be read without a doubt that the "fresh" models will arrive on the market with the same technical parameters as their predecessors, i.e. HD 5750 and HD 5770.
However, there is another important detail to the truth: AMD does not hide this operation at all, it also draws specific attention on its official website to the fact that it is architecturally the previous models, the update is only the introduction of HDMI 1.4a. In addition, AMD currently offers HD 6770 and HD 6750 cards only to the OEM market, not available as a boxed product, leaving the designations HD 5770 and HD 5750.
As stated above, the HD 6770 includes 800 stream processors with DirectX 11 support, a 128-bit memory controller, and GDDR5 memory. The HD 6750 works with 720 shaders, the clocks for both types are the same as their predecessors.
For the time being, these products will only be present on the OEM market, ie in complete computers, but it is not excluded that they will also appear on the retail (boxed, store) line in the future, we are looking forward to the developments.
