Seven new Intel CPUs are comingThe manufacturer is further expanding its Sandy Bridge product line, this time with Pentium models.

Intel is enriching its list of Sandy Bridge-based products with seven new processors. Two of these are equipped with four, while the other two are equipped with cores. The two quad-core models are the Core i5-2310 and Core i5-2405S, which are capable of counting on four threads, clocked at 2,9 GHz and 2,5 GHz, respectively, and have 6 MB of third-level cache. Thanks to the active Hyper-Threading support, the Core i3-2105 with two cores can count on four threads, its clock is shot at 3,1 GHz, the third-level cache has been halved here, ie only 3 MB.

The manufacturer will also take the Pentium name into the Sandy Bridge era and launch four versions at a time. They have in common that there is no Hyper-Threading support, the third-level cache size is 3 MB and contain two cores, which means two processing threads. Here, the Pentium G850 (2,9 GHz), G840 (2,8 GHz), G620 (2,6 GHz) and G620T (2,2 GHz) will compete. The key technical features and prices of the seven new products are summarized in the table below.
