HD 6770 and 6750 specifications

Chiphell staff leaked detailed information about the upcoming Radeon HD 6700 series.

The first members of the AMD Radeon 6000 series will be released as early as October, but specific specifications have yet to be obtained from an official source. Chiphell has now acquired an internal document that accurately reveals the parameters of the Radeon HD 6750 and 6770 models.

A A graphics processor codenamed Bart appears to be a significantly more powerful solution than Juniper (HD 5750, 5770). Another interesting fact is that the 5-way superscalar processors have been replaced by 4-way processors, so the engineers have also made changes to the shader arrays. Although the Bart is made with a bandwidth of 40 nm, energy efficiency has improved. The HD 6770 card has a TDP of 146 watts, compared to 114 watts for the smaller solution. If this information is correct, the news could cause an even more serious headache for NVIDIA.

We estimate that the HD 6770 will be 5-10% faster than the HD 5850. The HD 6750 is already a more shaky topic, but with a good chance it will outperform the HD 5830.
