The Lenovo DO Tour roadshow visited Hungary!The most popular of the products presented on the truck was the ThinkPad Tablet, which will soon be on store shelves in Hungary, which comes with the Honeycomb 3.1 operating system and is specifically aimed at business representatives. 

The roadshow called “Lenovo DO Tour”, which will visit nine countries in Europe in two months, was also presented in Hungary. The truck, designed specifically for this journey, departed from Poland and arrived in Hungary via the Czech Republic and Slovakia, from where it continued to Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, and will be unveiled at its last location in Ankara, Turkey, on 16 October. The roadshow aims to showcase Lenovo’s latest products and technologies, bringing the company closer to customers.

At a press conference on the occasion of the DO Tour, Ivan Bozev, CEO of Lenovo Southeast Europe, presented Lenovo’s latest brand strategy to target so-called “DOers,” that is, active, action-packed people. The company offers its customers notebooks, all-in-ones, desktops and tablets to help them do their jobs better and make their dreams come true using Lenovo’s latest tools. Anticipating the success of the new strategy, the CEO said that based on internal forecasts, Lenovo intends to become the second largest player in the global pc market by the end of the calendar year.

The most popular of the products presented on the truck was the ThinkPad Tablet, which will soon be on store shelves in Hungary, which comes with the Honeycomb 3.1 operating system and is specifically aimed at business representatives. In addition to the tablet, those interested could meet other members of the ThinkPad product family, including the ThinkPad X1 notebook, which is the thinnest ThinkPad machine from the Chinese manufacturer with a thickness of only 16,5 mm.

As a novelty, the company's IdeaCentre all-in-one computers for home use, as well as traditional PCs, which are primarily aimed at gamers, also debuted on the truck. Lenovo has been in the all-in-one PC market for 2 years and has since become the second largest manufacturer in the world. In addition to the presentation of the products, there was no fun left on the scene, the participants were dazzled by the April Project, Strokes, Bad Boyz, MC DC and Viktor Varga, the roadshow was hosted by the band Animal Cannibals.

The Lenovo DO Tour can be tracked on the World Wide Web. At www.lenovodotour.com, in addition to current information about the roadshow, those interested can also find an online game. In the online competition, nine challenges can be entered on topics such as the environment, education, health and fitness, technology or art and design. The winners will receive a number of Lenovo products and a one-week trip to Beijing as the main prize.
