The first AGP X1xxx ATI cards are coming soon

It has long been rumored that an AGP version of ATI’s new products will also be launched. The rumors have now become a fact.

Although production of the X1300 and X1600, not the much-anticipated AGP version of GTO, has begun, it could also be a joy for those who would replace their outdated VGA controller with one of today’s mid-range solutions without having to replace motherboard, processor and memory.

The Radeon X1300 and Radeon X1600 cards manufactured by GECUBE have 256 MB of DDR2 memory and, like their PCI Express-enabled counterparts, support ATI  AvivoTM Video Technology is. Of course, DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 3.0 are also supported on these instances.
