ASUS has already prepared almost all of its motherboards to receive the promising Pinnacle Ridge series.

The AMD Ryzen 2000 series can get off to a smooth start

The manufacturer's website has 16 motherboards with AM4 sockets, 14 of which already have the required BIOS release available for download - the two cuckoo eggs EX-A320M-GAMING and ROG Crosshair VI Hero, although a beta version has already been completed here. The upgrade is, of course, available on the X370, B350 and A320, regardless of chipset.

To support Ryzen 2000, ASUS has implemented microcode AGESA 1000a (AMD Generic Encapsulated Software Architecture). Interestingly, the version number has been restarted, as the AGESA 1006B is the latest release for the current Ryzen CPUs. The first crease stitching of the Zen architecture may go on sale in April, so the manufacturer was quite nimble.

Raven Ridge, the Ryzen 12 5G and Ryzen 2400 3G, which arrive on February 2200, can now be used on all ASUS motherboards. The nomenclature shows that the processors have an integrated graphics controller, with news that the IGP of the more powerful model could deliver up to 70% more performance than the leading solution of the current generation.
