Google Video Search and Player

Slowly, Google 's new search engine has finally launched, with Video UploaderYou can search for movies uploaded with, but you can even play the selected files on the website.

Google Video Viewer is a browser module that a Google video search website can display movies. This is actually the VLC media player Google's release, so it doesn't crash on the system due to the built-in codec.
The module works under both Firefox and Internet Explorer. However, it requires DirectX 9.0c and Windows 2000 or later.

And then come a few comments on the From the Google Video Search website.

A Video Uploaderrel have already uploaded quite a large amount of film, so there is plenty to look for. Of course, it is still difficult to find Hungarian programs, but it only depends on the uploaders.
If we click on one of the hits, it shows sample images taken from the movie every half minute, so we can position in the video with an accuracy of 30 seconds instead of a positioning bar.
You can do it in full screen by double-clicking on the movie.
All movies have the same resolution and are recompressed at a bit rate of about 1 Mbit / s, so you need at least that fast internet connection to watch them.

Censorship, on the other hand, is an interesting topic. With this amount of data, it is already impossible to check all the uploaded material, so they are probably trying to filter the footage based on the description given to the videos, possibly on a random basis. Of course, sex movies are pretty easy to filter out, but copyrighted material is already harder. For example, if you search for a trailer for a movie, you may get the full two-hour movie, so you can even make a movie with Google (of course, don't expect DVD quality from a data density of 1 Mbit / s).
