Gigabyte AM2 motherboards

HardwareZone staff has grabbed two new AMD motherboards from Gigabyte.

Once in their hands, they also quickly wrote a presentation on the two sheets. The new motherboards are based on the NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI and 570 SLI chipsets.

Of the two boards, the GA M59SLI-S5 with 590 SLI is the most interesting. What is noticeable at first glance is the cooling of the chip set made of copper, heat pipe. Following the path of the tubes, it soon becomes apparent that, unlike NVIDIA’s previous practice, we are faced with a two-chip set. What is not apparent, however, is that the article shows that the two PCI Express x16 connectors are full-fledged, full-speed.

Another interesting thing is the eight SATA connectors, which already work according to the double standard, and also have RAID-5 capabilities. Looking at the back cover, the dual, integrated Gigabit network interface appears. According to the tutorial, we also get HD-Audio support with the motherboard.
