GeForce 8600 GTS with 512 MB of memory

The first data has arrived from the GeForce 8600 GTS card, which has 512 MB of memory.

The table above shows all relevant data. Although not shown in the picture, the cooling is guaranteed to be fan. We already got a few months ago from the pictures on the card, they also showed the fan. Back then, however, we didn’t get any data on what kind of card it was, so at first glance, we thought Gainward gave his head to making ATI-based cards (red PCB).

Well, that is not the case, as the attached figure shows. The two-seater but extremely showy cooling is expected to bring Gainward quality, which can’t be called bad. As you can see above, the amount of memory has increased, but the interface has remained 128-bit, as more savvy people expected. According to rumors, the 8600-bit version of the 256 GTS will also come, but we can safely consider it an urban legend for the time being.
