Fujitsu envisions that in a few years, the capacity of hard drives will also come to the fore in notebooks.

At Fujitsu, taking into account current technologies and developments, it is estimated that 2010-inch, 1,2-inch notebook hard drives with a capacity of 2,5 TB may arrive by XNUMX.

It is planned that with the increasing use of perpendicular magnetic data recording technology, we can talk about a capacity of up to 600 GB per plate, which, if proved to be true, will also significantly increase the storage capacity of HDDs intended for desktop computers in the near future.
