We can rightly complain about the low-cost look of the small foobar2000, but with the help of various skins we can significantly improve the exterior. In addition to playback, the program is also suitable for CD grabbing, labeling and conversion work. Foobar2000 has minimal resource requirements, so it can be especially attractive for older configurations or netbooks.

The new release received IETF Opus codec support - the converter component can already handle this - and the ReplayGain tagging of Opus files has also improved.
