Updated SonyEricsson Xperia Arc and Xperia Play

A software update is coming for two new SonyEricsson models.

The manufacturer's two devices, the Xperia Play and Xperia Arc, have been on the market for a long time, yet SonyEricsson has now decided to update the software. Developers now certainly don’t want to make the mistake, as with the X10, of having to wait a long time for owners to update, so now the two devices mentioned will get Android 2.3.3.

Thanks to the new software, the device will now be stereo instead of mono while watching video. Another new feature is DLNA support and a feature called xLoud, which the announcement says will improve speaker performance while listening to music. The update varies by region, so it is not yet possible to know when it will be available in Hungary. The easiest way to install is from our mobile menu.
