Fresh Nitro power supplies from Chieftec
The new series comes with higher efficiency as well as modular cabling.
Chieftec has updated its Nitro product line with a series called the Nitro 88+, which hides a 650, a 750, an 850 and a 1000 watt model. All members have achieved 80 Plus Silver certification, which means that efficiency reaches 50% at 88% load. The 12-volt branch is not divided into several parts, so here the members are able to generate 52, 60, 68 and 80 Amperes. A 14 cm fan is responsible for cooling the red-painted power supplies. Novelties with active PFCs of course also support the ATX12V 2.3 standard.
The Chieftec Nitro 88+ can be pre-ordered, with € 112,05 for the smallest version, € 750 for the 120,061-watt version, € 850 for the 158,87-watt model and € 198,97 for the strongest version.
