A fresh alternative to QuickTime files
Minor changes to the popular QuickTime media suite.
You can use the program to play .mov .qt and other file extensions without installing the official QuickTime Player. It can also play QuickTime content embedded in web pages thanks to its own plug-in. QuickTime Alternative works great with most popular browsers such as Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla, or Netscape.
QuickTime 7 and with it Alternative no longer supports Windows 95 and 98, it only runs on newer Windows.
