The hundredth Wi-Fi train car in circulation

MÁV-START already operates a hundred vehicles suitable for the Internet, so the number of passengers who can use the service free of charge is around twenty thousand a day. There are between twenty and thirty thousand people a day who, thanks to the development, can spend their travel time usefully by correspondence, reading portals, visiting social sites or even working. 

On-board wireless internet is available free of charge in all vehicles prepared for this purpose, with a maximum bandwidth of 7,2 Mbps per car.

The expansion is ongoing, with the two-hundredth wifi car expected to be available to travelers as early as May. [MAV]
