Firefox 4 for Android
The RC version of Firefox 4 for Android has been released.
I don’t think Firefox needs to be introduced to anyone anymore, it’s almost certain that everyone has come across it on a computer. Not so long ago, the final version of PC version 4 was released. Various beta versions have been available for Android for a long time, but now the RC version has been released. There will no longer be a significant change in the final version compared to the Release Candidate version, only bug fixes can be expected.
Based on my own test, Firefox is at the level of Opera Mobile 11 in terms of speed. With Opera, it takes 8 seconds to load the HOC main page, with Firefox it takes 9 seconds. It's worth noting that by default, no browser loads flash content. The Android 2.2.1 factory browser takes 5 seconds to load the aforementioned page with flash content.
