The device offered for zero forints also has a price, practice shows that a loyalty period must be taken for the duration of the installment payment, and the loyalty contract must be considered, during which time the conditions can be met, termination of the loyalty contract can be costly - Attila Zsuppán pointed out. The Director of Communications of the NMMH emphasized that TVs purchased as a gift must be checked for suitability to receive digital terrestrial broadcasts, which must be indicated on the product. For smart TVs, you may want to check that you have an adequate speed Internet connection at the point of intended use.

For devices intended for minors, it is worth installing child protection filtering programs and disabling channels not intended for them with a pin code, in order to avoid shocking bills, it is advisable to choose a subscription related to the communication product, Attila Zsuppán pointed out. Zsuzsanna Fülöp said: smart phones, tablets, laptops and televisions are also covered by a 10-year warranty above the gross purchase price of HUF 1, during which time the device can be repaired or replaced if it is not possible, the consumer can cancel the purchase.

A NFH spokesman also pointed out that it is definitely worth making sure the product works, as there are three working days available for immediate replacement in the event of a non-functioning item. The consumer complaint must always be made at the place of purchase, the trader is obliged to keep a report on it, a copy of which must be received by the consumer - said Zsuzsanna Fülöp. When shopping online, it is advisable to buy only from a reliable web store, the spokesman advised, who said that you should avoid sites where the operator cannot be identified, and you should also save the price and offer from the website at the time of purchase.
