The Kabini APU has appeared in the HP 255 laptop
Ultra-low power Cabin inserts have already proven themselves in the embedded systems market. Who might have lagged behind: 28nm microarchitecture, Jaguar cores and HD 8000 series graphics controller. Even the size of the second-level cache was known, but the expected clocks and names are no longer - at least so far.
A HP 255 Notebook Data Sheet uncovered a number of products, these are summarized in a table for better transparency.
After the above parameters, we believe that the E2-3000 is the equivalent of the GX-217GA embedded chip, so the TDP can be 15 watts here as well, and the integrated memory controller can support DDR1600 modules up to 3 MHz.
The A4-5000 series also has an embedded counterpart (GX-420CA), suggesting that power consumption does not exceed 25 watts. The memory controller promises support similar to the E2-3000 series solutions.
