So far, we have seen devices in the Xiaomi Poco sub-brand that have already appeared in Xiaomi or Redmi’s offerings under other names.
If the news turns out to be true, there will be a mobile that has not yet been introduced under the name Xiaomi or Redmi, meaning it may be the first true phone to be made entirely under the auspices of the Poco.
The device, codenamed M2007J20CG, is rumored to be named Poco X3 at baptism. In the photo on the back cover, we can see a striking design that is significantly different from the design of Xiaomi mobiles. The camera island also changes, next to the rounded edges we find straight lower and upper edges.
The most striking, of course, is the huge Poco inscription, which is housed on a textured surface based on the image. It is possible that this will be a non-slip surface, which is not a big disadvantage for a phone. Thanks to the FCC list, we know some of the Poco X3 specifications, if that’s what it’s really going to be called.
The operating system will be the MIUI 12, with a battery capacity of 5060 mAh, which will be accompanied by a 33-watt fast charge. It is not from the FCC list, but from the image, that the main camera on the back will be 64 megapixels.
We do not know the price of the new phone, nor do we know the release date. Nor is it certain that the Poco design, which now seems first, will not appear on a Xiaomi or Redmi model first. For now, so much seems certain that the new mobile will arrive sometime.
