Gingerbread arrives on HTC Desire Z.
Android 2.3 for Desire Z may arrive later this month.
HTC announced in May that Gingerbread will arrive on the Desire Z in June, but there are indications that a speck of dust has entered the machine and the long-awaited update has not yet arrived.
The good news for owners is that the manufacturer has now announced that an update to the system will be available in late July. More welcome news is that the news is that Android 2.3.3 will arrive on all Desire Z devices at the same time, so hopefully we won’t have to wait any more months to upgrade.
