EnerMAXimum - housing and power supply demonstration

As we had already suggested at the beginning of this article, Enermax did not disappoint.

The two houses shown, as already described, proved to be rather strange mules, as they were built on a completely standard steel frame, but due to the number and quality of services, they are not yet among the standard houses. Before anyone misunderstands, we have nothing wrong with steel frames, as it is cheap to make a strong, durable structure out of steel. Their only downside to aluminum is that they are slightly heavier than that. So the reason for our surprise is not the structure. What surprised us much was that even the cheaper structure, which can even be said to be porous in terms of its packaging, is equipped with everything an average user might need, and even more, as support for water cooling was not left out. It is rare to find screw-free drive and card mounts in a single cardboard-raised nook.

The bigger the house, if you can even mule, if you can live with this twisted picture. Although the packaging already reveals that we can get acquainted with a no-entry-level nook. There is nothing surprising in the number of services and outlets, but the frame of the house is again not special. We already have some sense of lack here, because with a structure blessed with such an exterior, little things like vibration dampers could really go to the fans or drives. Despite this latter shortcoming, we believe that Enermax houses are a good buy and certainly comply with the principles described in the introduction, meaning they can serve us for many years to come.

We can't write badly about the ECO 80+ power supply either. It seems to be the right choice for building a strong machine, both externally and internally. Due to the volume of cooling, more precisely the lack of sound, we can even recommend it for building a stronger HTPC. We also tried to measure this non-existent volume, but as we did not have a deaf room we died in the ashes of the business. With our current equipment, the noise of the power supply is immeasurably low.

All in all, we can say that Enermax's products deserve our plecsnit in the editorial offer, as we did not find any notable shortcomings other than small negatives.
