Office 2010 SP1 is complete
The first service pack for Office 2010 can be downloaded manually from the Microsoft Download Center. Automatic installation is expected later.
Microsoft Office 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) contains the latest updates to Office 2010. A detailed description of the changes is in link below readable.
The fixes in the service pack fall into two main categories:
- Previously released fixes that were made specifically for this service pack. In addition to general product improvements, the service pack also includes stability, performance, and security enhancements.
- All public updates released in June 2011 and all cumulative updates released in April 2011.
Office 2010 is officially the most popular suite in the Office family. It has sold over 6 million copies since its release. The popularity is also guaranteed by the free version of Office 2010, which includes only Microsoft Word and Excel, but still provides insight into how the software works.
