The Torqx 2 SSD family is completed
This time, Patriot Memory has launched a fresh line of products.
Patriot Memory has officially unveiled the SSD product line, named Torqx 2. The 2,5-inch products with SATA II (3 Gbps) interface range in capacity from 32 GB to 256 GB. The members are made up of MLC (multi-level cell) type NAND Flash chips manufactured at 3x nm, the specific type of controller has not been revealed, but some sources suggest JMicron. The technical equipment also includes a 128 MB cache and TRIM support. The sequential data rates for read and write are 270 MB / s and 230 MB / s, respectively. The MTBF value was defined by the manufacturer in 1,5 million hours.
