GELID made its first processor cooler
GELID Silent Spirit can be responsible for cooling all CPUs in use today.
The Socket 775 and Socket 754/939/940 / AM2 / AM2 + sockets can be cooled using Intel and AMD processors using GELID Silent Spirit. When designing the processor cooler, the manufacturer followed the instructions of the already well-proven recipe:
- the copper base in contact with the surface of the central unit continues in the form of four heat pipes
- the densely lamellar aluminum rib is fitted with a variable speed (PWM-controlled), liquid-bearing, 10 cm fan with a minimum of 900 and a maximum of 2400 cycles per minute
- according to GELID, the air agitator can only fail after a minimum of 50 operating hours, its noise level - depending on the speed - is 10-25,8 dBA
Silent Spirit can land on the shelves of specialty stores in November at the earliest, the recommended consumer price is 23 euros - about 6000 forints.
