The Samsung Smart App Challenge 2013 has started
Samsung is announcing an Android application development competition worldwide. Those interested can apply with creative and original mobile apps, which must be registered on the App Challenge 2013 website: http://www.smartappchallenge.com. The company will reward 10 applications with a total value of $ 800 (approximately $ 000 million).
Samsung’s developer competition aims to support the creation of useful and interesting applications that take advantage of the already well-known “Group Play” feature on the GALAXY S4: you can connect multiple devices at the same time and stream content.
In addition to high-value cash prizes, the winning application developers will also receive a financial investment from Samsung Venture Investment.
"Our company is committed to bringing unique ideas to life. Last year, our first domestic mobile application development competition was successfully run, the best of which were included in our pioneering initiative, the Samsung App Mix package containing free Hungarian apps, and gained recognition. During the campaign, we came across so many unique initiatives, and we believe that ideas from Hungarian minds can also be successful in this global competition," said Balázs Kunos, director of Samsung's mobile and IT business.
Applications can be registered until August 2013, 31 at http://www.smartappchallenge.com. They will be judged between October and November and the winners will be announced in December.
