Microsoft's security software is on its way to conquest

Microsoft has announced that it will make the Windows Live OneCare security solution available in 30 countries from January XNUMX, which so far has only been available to US users.

Microsoft introduced Windows Live OneCare in May 2006, but since then, the security features provided by the security solution have been available only to U.S. users. The company announced today that it will unveil the latest version of Windows Live OneCare on January 30, while making its security product available in sixteen more countries.

One of the most important features of OneCare is that it strives to provide users with a complete security package. Accordingly, it includes an antivirus, antispyware software, a firewall, a backup application, and some programs that make it easier to optimize Windows performance. According to Microsoft, Windows Live OneCare provides more efficient virus and spyware detection than ever before, offers more flexible backup features, and is compatible with Windows Vista.

As of January 30, Windows Live OneCare will be available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, England, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore, in addition to the United States. There is no news yet about when Microsoft will launch its security product in other countries, so it is not yet possible to know when OneCare will arrive in Hungary. The company didn’t want to comment on the price of the security product either, all you know is that it costs $ 50 in the U.S. and that’s why the software can run on three home PCs for that price.
